Wesley is officially in 3T Clothes! We put away all the 2T's last week, he was starting to look a little silly because all of them were much too short and would show his socks and his wrists... He has been working really hard on his Alphabet and numbers and now can recognize all the letters and numbers, it's so fun to hear him in the car saying all the letters and numbers on the signs we see. He is getting to be quite the little singer and sings funny songs all the time, but he has no volume control, everything he sings at the top of his lungs, but it is so beautiful! *Wes just completed his evaluation to see if he qualifies to go to Alex's school next year. He did very well on the evaluation and scored as having the developmental age of 48 months and he's only 39 months old, we are so proud of him! We are a little disappointed that he is not going to be able to benefit from the amazing program that Alex has been going to, but we're glad that he doesn't have enough Autistic characteristics to qualify to attend!*
While Wesley is growing, Alex is losing weight, he's down about 4 pounds, but he's still growing taller, we're so excited that his weight is starting to even out! He was on some medication that really helped him in his every day functioning, but a side effect was weight gain, we finally found a suitable alternative to the medication and he is doing so well! He started a ballet class (Wesley is being allowed to attend as well, it's a riot!), taught by a BYU intern at his school. He just loves his ballet class! He will be having a recital sometime in April, we'll post the date when it is finalized. Alex is working on writing and he can already write his name and most of the other letters of the Alphabet. He has been working on what sounds each letter makes too and he should be reading soon!
The real reason for the sparse posting is that I (Kelsey) have started school again. I love it so much, I can't wait to go to class and I've even been enjoying my homework assignments and writing my papers. I think I am crazy trying to go to school and keep up with everything else at home, but I'm so glad to be continuing my education. I would like to say, for the record, that I'm NOT enjoying the snow! I cannot remember a year when I have been as excited for spring (and I'm usually pretty excited for spring). Here is a picture of Mike and I at Bruce and Linda's, we were getting ready to go skiing, see what Mike's hair looks like with no product in it. Ha ha!

Mike received a promotion at the first of the year, we are so proud of him! He turned 27 years old on the 28th of January, he's worried about a mid life crisis, since he is approaching 30 years old. LOL He's also being a real trooper picking up the slack with my new schedule. In reality, he's loving all the one on one time with the boys, they can't wait for him to get home in the evenings to play soccer and mess around. Mike and I got to go skiing with his family at Grand Targhee in Idaho. The boys stayed with Grandma Allred and we were able to spend a great weekend with his family. I do not know how to skii, so Mike and Gary tried to teach me, better luck next year. Mike did get to actually skii without me (somewhere other than the bunny hill) for a while and he remembered how much he likes it. Here is a funny picture I took of Mike one night after the boys went to bed, I mean, seriously, how many lap tops does one man need... (to be fair, he is missing a few, he has 3 more computers between home and work)

My husband is only 4 days older than your husband. That's nuts! Good for you for going back to school! That's awesome!
