It took forever this afternoon to weave the lights into the branches, and sections kept turning off, we'd have to check all the bulbs to see where the problems were, it was very frustrating. Finally, just before dinner, we put all the decorations on, including quite a few of Mike and Kelsey's hand made ornaments from when they were kids. We broke 3 balls in the process, darn wood floor, they explode all over. After dark, when we turned off all the lights in the room and plugged in the Christmas tree lights, our miss matched, hodge-podge tree sure is great!
Here are the boys standing by the finished product, notice the train-less track at the bottom, Wes won't leave the train alone long enough to get it set up properly.
Wesley, LOVES snowmen! And he was giddy with delight to get to stick ornaments all over the tree, I don't know why he has such a somber expression in this picture.
The boys were being sooooooo careful with the Christmas balls, but we still broke 3
We climbed up the step stool to put decorations at the very top of the tree
Mommy is helping Wes so he doesn't drop any more ornaments.

One day I'm going to be able to decorate with balls again. I don't think either of my kids would leave them alone! I think your tree looks great!
How fun to see photos of your family. Thanks for visiting our blog. Isn't it fun having boys? Wow, you must have your hands full with everything you've got going on. Hope you're all happy and well. It's so good to hear from you!

I hear you about frustrations with Christmas trees. We were so excited to have our tree up before Halloween. (I know some find this terrible.) But when we went to decorate it a week later, our lights didn't work. I was terribly disappointed and frustrated. So I just gave up. No whole day experience. You are a more patient person than me. We finally just borrowed lights from my in-laws. I agree that your tree looks great!
