Fishing

We have been quite busy and I have been quite sick being pregnant and all, so our blog has been one of the things to get neglected. I'd like to say I'll do better, but at this stage, we may be a little while away from anything in our lives changing and mellowing out at all.

Anyway, we have been spending quite a bit of time at my parent's at the river, like we do every summer. The boys have been loving it, their new favorite activities are playing in the river at "The Secret Spot" (Grandpa was trying to entice them to come with him one day and the only way to get them to budge was to tell them he had a secret to show them, thus: "The Secret Spot" and that's what everyone calls it now lol) and fishing with Dave (they don't want to fish with anyone else, just Dave. Now if someone else happens to be there as well they're ok with it, but having Dave there is a requirement for fishing as far as they're concerned).

This is the first fish Alex caught, a little catfish, can you tell how excited he was!?!

After Alex got to reel one in, it was Wes' turn, he caught a teeny perch, but
he was so excited he could hardly contain himself!

Yesterday, Alex caught this Carp, he reeled it in all by himself!
