I'll probably be posting more t-ball pictures from future games, but here are a few from the first game of the season. Alex had an absolute riot- while some of the kids were picking grass and doing summer saults in the outfield, Alex was right in the middle of everything, shouting, "I got it!" and "Here, throw it to me!" He was so intent and focused. After the first inning he discovered that whoever went up to bat last got to run the full circle, instead of having to stop at each base, can you guess where he wanted to be in line for the rest of the innings...

Coach Frank helped him hold the bat properly, and he hit it to about the pitcher's mound....

...then ran like there was no tomorrow...

...here he is heading home. As he crossed his home plate he threw both his hands up in the air and did a victory sprint over to me, it was so great!

Can you see how focused he is, nothing got past him. He figured out that the pitchers mound was where all the action was, so that was where he wanted to be.

So fun! Kelsey, he is sooo normal! We would love to see him play, but we aren't quite that close!
Love to all!!
So fun! He looks like he has a promising career as a baseball player.
As for the Washington rec center pool...its the best. I hope next time you come down we can hook up!
We love ya all and wish Alex the best. Let him know that we love him and are sorry that he got hurt. He is tough little kid and will get through it. Wish we could watch a game.
